Building tools, not slide decks
I work as a software engineer. Outside of that, I spend a lot of time reading source code from projects I admire — it is still one of the fastest ways I learn.
I started coding in high school and kept building through small web projects before joining 21North as a full-stack developer in 2021. Since then I have been in backend engineering — at Informatica, and now at Morgan Stanley working on systems and platform code.
Lextrix grew out of that. I was reading Quill's source, trying to extend editors I did not fully understand, and kept wishing the pieces were separated cleanly. The games on this site — Sudoku, 2048, board games — are smaller versions of the same habit: build something, see where it breaks, write about it if it helps someone else.
This site is partly a portfolio, but mostly a place to keep track of what I build and learn.
